Aerify Charge uses pneumatic compression to create a dynamic and effective massage for your legs. Aerify Recovery's powerful sequential pneumatic compression device is portable and extremely effective in recovery thanks to its cuff concept. Compression supports venous return, improves lymphatic flow and thus prevents damage to the connective tissue caused by edema.
With its weight (1.46 kg) and compact size, the Aerify Charge is one of the smallest sequential lymphatic drainage/compression devices in the world. It delivers a maximum pressure of 240 mmHg and is EC-MDD certified for Class IIa medical devices.

How does sequential compression work in Aerify Recovery cuffs?
The Aerify Recovery cuffs for the Aerify Charge control unit have 8 chambers (each chamber can be deactivated individually). Pneumatic compression inflates them from the outermost extremities towards the heart. The cuff is then quickly and completely deflated and the return flow of blood to the outermost extremities is increased.

The sequential compression allows stimulation of the venous system, which moves blood from the extremities back to the heart, removing waste products such as creatine kinase that occur after intense exercise. This leads to the removal of the metabolites that cause fatigue and pain in the muscles. In addition, the pressure gradient created by the Aerify Recovery Cuffs supports the recovery of neural function and proprioception after exercise.

The result: shorter recovery time and reduction of stiffness and swelling. For example, 1 – 2 hours of therapy with Aerify Recovery is equivalent to 12 – 48 hours of normal recovery time without therapy.

By default, we recommend a session of 30 minutes per day, but you can manually set your individual session length up to 99 minutes.
For a quick warm-up before training, just 15 minutes of high pressure may be enough. After training, you can do up to 50-60 minutes of relaxing compression. As long as the procedure feels comfortable for you, there are no restrictions on how long or how often you should use it!

When using Aerify Recovery after exercise, the sequential compression in the cuffs has been shown to quickly reduce the heart rate to resting levels. By quickly returning the heart rate to normal, the high correlation between muscle fatigue and elevated heart rate is reduced. This results in faster recovery and reduction in muscle fatigue.
